Hey y'all! As most of you know, I am a first time mom to a 5 month old baby girl, Kennedy, and I am learning new things about babies and parenting every single day. Since she is not crawling yet, I have not even thought about babyproofing our house. I had NO IDEA how un-babyproofed {yes, that's a word I just made up} our home was until my 11 month nephew who is already walking visited a couple of weeks ago. It was eye opening to see everything he was able to get into, reach, and open! As a result, like any new parent would do, I started googling babyproofing solutions and that's when I discovered Door Guardian.
Door Guardian makes a variety of easy-to-use, easy-to-install, and cost effective safety solutions for your home to include locks for exterior doors, interior doors, sliding doors, refrigerators, appliances, cabinets, and drawers. I was so excited when they offered to send me their Inswinging and Outswining Door Locks to try.
These locks made for exterior doors have the following features:
- Resist forced entry providing peace of mind
- Effectively childproof exterior doors
- Install in minutes on wood or metal doors
- Easy to use spring loaded device
- 6 Elegant finishes will match most home decors
I decided to try the inswinging lock on our door leading to the garage since it is closest to where Kennedy and I spend most of our time. I love how easy it was to install {y'all, if I can do it then it's easy enough for ANYONE to do it} and that it secures to your door with 3M VHB tape {no need to drill holes in your doors!}. It is obvious that this lock is going to hold up really well and give me great peace of mind as Kennedy becomes more mobile.
If you are looking for good quality baby and child proofing solutions, I highly recommend checking Door Guardian out! I can't wait to try more of their products as we continue to babyproof our home. You can find them in-store at Walmart, Lowe's, and Home Depot.
Thank you to Door Guardian for sponsoring today's post! As always, all opinions are my own.
