Happy Tuesday, y'all - I hope everyone enjoyed their three day weekend! According to my Instagram stories yesterday, I was one of the only few who had to work on MLK day...womp womp. Speaking of Instagram stories, when I asked on stories earlier this month what you wanted to see more of in 2019, the two most requested topics were Splurge vs. Steal and athleisure. Today, I combined the two for a Splurge vs. Steal: Athleisure Edition! I made a list of some of the most popular designer athleisure styles and scoured the malls / internet for affordably priced look a-likes. I even went as far as checking out each of the items first-hand to ensure that I'm only recommending products that I love, and I can't wait to share these awesome steals with you today!
As I mentioned in last week's blog post, I spend the majority of my time each week at an office, and therefore am dressed in work clothes more than anything else. But when the weekend rolls around, you'll find me in an outfit that meets my three C's rule - comfy, casual, & cute....AKA athleisure. Since I only get to wear athleisure a couple of times a week, I don't like to invest a whole lot of money in it. So today, I'm sharing eight affordable, great quality finds {"steals"} that look almost identical to much more expensive designer items {"splurges"}. I personally own all of today's steals and even a few of the splurges, so feel free to DM me for any questions!

Splurge: $35 Swell Water Bottle

Steal: $10 Water Bottle
I came across this water bottle while shopping at Walmart a few months ago and, of course, it came home with me. I couldn't resist the cute marble design! I also couldn't believe how much it looked and felt just like the, much more expensive, Swell water bottle. This is my go-to water bottle for work, hiking, and the gym - it keeps my water cold for hours!-----------------
Splurge: $90 Steve Madden Hidden Wedge Sneakers
Steal: $20 {Identical} Hidden Wedge Sneakers
Y'all, these $20 sneakers from Payless are the BEST thing since sliced bread. They're so comfy and stylish, and you can't beat that $20 price tag. They look almost identical to the $90 Steve Madden ones, and in my honest opinion, the Payless ones are more comfortable. These tend to sell out frequently {for obvious reasons}, but they are always restocked - so keep checking back if they don't currently have your size.
-----------------
Splurge: $200 Black Ray Ban Aviators
Steal: $16 Black Aviators
I tried these $16 aviators on at Nordstrom the other day and I can see why they have over 80 great reviews. They are really good quality {and have 100% UV protection} for the $16 price tag - especially for someone, like me, who tends to lose sunglasses frequently. Please tell me I'm not the only one!? Obviously, the RayBans' quality is better {they are also polarized}, so they would be a great investment for someone who can keep up with a pair of sunnies for longer than a day...I'm just not that person.
-----------------
Splurge: $110 Spanx Tuxedo Stripe Leggings
VS.
Steal: $35 Tuxedo Stripe Leggings
If you've been following me for a while, you know I LOVE my Spanx leggings. They are high-waisted, comfortable, and hold you in and smooth you out in all the right places. To me, they are worth every single penny. With that being said, I chose not to invest in the super stylish $110 tuxedo stripe faux leather leggings. I think these might be trendier than the classic faux leather leggings; therefore, I wouldn't wear them near as often. So when I came across these ponte tuxedo stripe leggings at Loft, I jumped at the opportunity to get the Spanx look for a third of the price. They're true to size, super comfortable, and can be styled so many different ways. Check out 4 ways I recently styled them here! Right now, they're 50% off {making them just $35} with code: WANT!
Disclaimer: LOFT's sales happen often and change frequently, so the leggings may not currently be on sale for the price listed above. If they are not currently on sale, they will be again VERY soon.

Splurge: $100 North Face Puffer Vest
VS.
Steal: $33 Puffer Vest
I've had this $33 black puffer vest from Macy's for about 3 years now. I wear it all the time - I even run in it during the cooler months. It's super warm, great quality, machine washable, has a detachable hood, and can be folded up into a little pouch for easy packing...need I say more!? It looks and feels very similar to the this $100 North Face vest for a fraction of the price!
-----------------
Splurge: $495 Golden Goose Sneakers
VS.
Steal: $30 Golden Goose Dupes
These Golden Goose sneakers are SO CUTE, but I could never justify spending almost $500 on a pair of sneakers...well, unless I won the lottery...then I might consider it. When I found these $30 Golden Goose Dupes on SheIn, it was almost like winning the lottery! They have several different color options including ones with glitter and leopard...two of my favorite things! They got really good reviews on SheIn, but they do tend to run small. I recommend sizing up 1 full size for the best fit.
PS: Both the splurge and steal version of these sneakers come in European sizes. If you need help converting your American size to your European size, you can use this conversion chart. For reference, I am a 7.5 which converts to a 38 in European sizes, so I ordered a 39 in the $30 SheIn sneakers.

Splurge: $200 Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket
VS.
Steal: $30 Puffer Jacket
I'm not gonna lie, I own the Patagonia Nano Puff in black and it is one of my all-time favorite jackets. But, if you don't want to invest $200 in the Patagonia jacket, this puffer from Old Navy is very similar! The best thing about Old Navy, is that they are always having great sales. Today, everything is an extra 30% off making this puffer just $30!
-----------------
Splurge: $54 Lululemon Sports Bra
VS.
Steal: $19 Strappy Sports Bra
Last but not least, is this super cute strappy back sports bra. This is another awesome Old Navy find that looks identical to the Lululemon Energy Bra for less than half the price. It is very comfortable and perfect for athleisure or low impact workouts like barre or yoga. I love to wear it under workout tops, like this one, with an open back to show the strappy design of the bra!
Disclaimer: Like LOFT, Old Navy's sales happen often and change frequently. The puffer jacket and/or sports bra may not currently be on sale for the price above. If you wait a day or two, the item you're looking for will be on sale again, promise!
