Holiday Gift Guide for Him

It's November 1st, so you know what that means?? It means that my Michael Buble Christmas album will be on repeat between now and December 31.  Too soon?? It's NEVER too soon in my book.  It's also never too soon to start planning for the Holidays.  I always like to get a head start on my Christmas shopping particularly because I like to spread out the expenses as much as possible, and I HATE being stressed trying to find last minute gifts.

Between now and Christmas, I am going to share a series of Holiday Gift Guides to help you find the perfect gifts for those on your "nice list."  They will all be posted on the "Holiday Gift Guide" tab on the blog for your reference.  First up is the Holiday Gift Guide for Him.  Each of these items is husband approved, which is great because now I have so many ideas on things to get him for Christmas. Win-Win!  There is a gift here for any of the men in your life - husband, boyfriend, dad, father-in-law, brother, friend, etc. etc.

For the Outdoorsman

Anything from Patagonia or Yeti will be the perfect for the man in your life that loves the outdoors!  They're at a higher price-point, but the quality is great.

For the Traveller

My husband loves a nice toiletry bag and duffel bag for weekend trips.  What I love about this leather toiletry bag is that you can personalize it with your man's initials!  Pottery Barn has so many great personalizable items for one who loves to travel - I linked some more of my favorites below.

Another gift that I recently purchased for Fielding is this framed map where you can place a pin in all of the locations around the world that you've visited.  It hangs in our office and we love placing the pins in it when we return home from our latest adventure.

For the Music Lover

I purchased the Apple Air Pods for Fielding last year for Christmas and they have have hands-down been his most used gift!  He loves to listen to music - so he wears them when he's working, cleaning, and working out - and he also uses them for work calls, to listen to audio books, and podcasts.  What he likes about them: they're wireless, great sound quality {for both music and phone calls}, they stay put in his ears, and they charge quickly.  Fielding also loves his Bose SoundLink.  It's compact but the sound quality is amazing.  It goes with us on every vacation so that we can listen to music while we're getting ready.  Both of these items would make perfect gifts!

For the Drinker

There's so many great gifts out there for the beer or whiskey connoisseur.  My favorite is this map where you can insert bottle caps from different breweries you've visited around the country!

For the Well Kept

Does the guy you're shopping for like to primp? I've got you covered!  Shaving kits, skincare, and cologne make great gifts.

For the Techy

As you know, I'm an engineer, so the nerd in my came out when picking out gifts for the technology lovers out there.

It's time for all any tech lover to jump on the Virtual Reality train.  Google released an affordable VR headset, the Daydream, for just $99.  Explore other worlds, the swim at the bottom of the ocean, or just get ring-side seating at your favorite hoops game—all from the comfort of your couch.

Next is the Echo Spot.  It's an Amazon Alexa device where you can watch video, read/listen to books, view the weather forecast, and more!

Lastly, and the most costly, is the Apple Watch.  I know it's an investment, but it is truly the best smart watch on the market - trust me, I've tried several of them!

For the Homebody

You can never go wrong with buying gifts for a cozy night at home.  Every man needs house shoes, jammies, and a nice robe.

For the Well Dressed

J.Crew Factory is my go-to place to buy Fielding's clothes and accessories.  They're great quality and always have an amazing sale going on.  I linked some of my favorite items below that would make great Christmas gifts!
