Wooden Ships is a family-owned and family-run company that started 25 years ago.  You have to read about the amazing founders Paola & Mark.  Here are the highlights: They met at Harvard and were inspired to start their company after a backpacking trip to Bali.  They are passionate about taking care of the planet and giving back - they donate to many great organizations and own and operate an ethical production facility in Bali.  They even initiated a development program to train women and break the cultural barrier in Indonesia - how cool is that?!

Not only are the founders amazing, but so are their sweaters!  This loose-knit, cotton, Lobster Crewneck Sweater is of GREAT quality.  The sweater is tunic length, which I love, because it can be styled so many different ways and worn through many seasons.  Here I decided to tie it in a knot in the front and pair it with my favorite lace bralette and white shorts.  At the beach next week, I will most definitely be wearing it over my swimsuits {since it's a tunic length, it covers my butt} and it also looks super cute with white or distressed denim.  I love the relaxed fit, and the rounded hem with side slits is very flattering for every body type.
