Happy Monday, y'all! We had BEAUTIFUL weather in Atlanta over the weekend, and on Saturday we spent the day enjoying the sunshine at the Inman Park Festival. There was live music, local artists and boutiques, and great food and drinks. It was so fun to explore a new area in Atlanta with old friends! I wore this button down shirt with a pair of shorts to the festival and got so many compliments, so I decided to tell y'all about it today! There's nothing better than a good button down shirt. This one by Universal Thread is SO soft, light-weight, doesn't wrinkle, and is under $20! The great thing about button downs is their versatility. They can easily be dressed up for work, dressed down for the weekend, and can be worn year around. Today, I'm sharing 4 ways to style a button down for spring and summer.
1. Tie it over a dress
Tying a shirt over a dress is a great way to spice up an otherwise plain outfit. It's also a perfect day-to-night look. You can tie the shirt around you waist during the day, then put it over your shoulders {like shown below} for those chilly spring nights.

2. Tuck it in
You can never go wrong tucking a button down into slacks or a skirt for a classic, polished work look.

3. Half Tucked
I love the casual, effortless look of a half tucked button down and jeans {or shorts}. It's the perfect weekend outfit.

4. Tie it over a Cami or Swimsuit
This is how I styled it for the Inman Park festival. You can can either tie it over a cami or leave it unbuttoned and untucked over a cami for a cute casual look. If you're headed to the beach, swap out the cami for your swimsuit for a perfect beach-side or pool-side look.
