One-Piece Wonders

Hey y'all! I am THRILLED to share my very first blog post.  I have been wanting to start a blog for years and I made it my New Years Resolution to finally take the plunge {and it may or may not be the only resolution I've stuck with}.  I hope you enjoy!  

If you can't tell by my blog name, I kinda have a thing for stripes.  What you may not know about me, though, is that my favorite clothing item is a good jumpsuit.  So when I found this adorable striped number - I knew I couldn't live without it.  Let me tell you 5 reasons why I love these one-piece wonders:

1.  Comfort

Jumpsuits kinda feel like you're wearing pajamas, but look extremely classy and sophisticated.  They are typically loose-fitting, forgiving, don't hug too tight around your legs, and aren't restrictive.  It doesn't get any better than that!

2.  Effortless

You don't have to stress over styling a top and bottom together - you throw it on and you instantly look put together {in a fraction of the time}.

3.  Versatility

Jumpsuits can be worn many different ways, for a variety of occasions, and year-round.  With the right shoes and accessories, they can easily be dressed up for a cocktail event or down for the beach.  I've worn them anywhere from date night, traveling, weddings, BBQ's, and even to work {just throw on a blazer}.

4.  Flattering

No matter your shape, I am certain you can find a jumpsuit flattering for your body type.  They come in so many different fabrics, prints, silhouettes, necklines and sleeve/pant lengths.  I am confident that any lady can pull off a jumpsuit and look GREAT in it.

5.  Chic

Jumpsuits are so chic and a great alternative to a dress.  If you want to leave a lasting impression at your next event, throw on a jumpsuit instead of a dress.  I promise you won't regret it {well...until it's time to go to the bathroom}.

I paired this particular jumpsuit {which is unfortunately sold out, but get on the wait list here} with these adorable blush tassel earrings, my new favorite circle bag, and these extremely versatile nude sandals {that I literally wear non-stop in the spring and summer}.  This look would be perfect for a bridal shower, a day-wedding, and/or date night!  I plan to wear it to my friend's baby shower that I have coming up!
